There is miracle in your mouth

There is miracle in your mouth

The disciples noticed that the fig tree had dried up to its root and they were shocked. They called Jesus’ attention to it and He said to them: “have faith in God, for assuredly I say to you, whoever says to these mountain be removed, be cast into sea and does not doubt in his mind and believe those things he says will be done; he will have whatever he says”. There is miracle in your mouth!

There is miracle in your mouth; don’t be silent anymore. If your word must be effective, you must speak by faith. Faith is “the substance of things not seen, the evidence of things hoped for”. Friend, I want you to know that your confession will lead to your possession. Do not keep quiet on what you’re expecting from God because your expectation will soon become your manifestation. Don’t be intimidated into keeping quiet; declare what you expect. As long as you keep quiet, your mountain will stand tall against you. Speak to that mountain, situation or even that report from the doctor.

David destroyed Goliath, not with the sword in his hand but the sword in his mouth. The bible says “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds”. We are admonished to put on the whole armour of God, including the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God. And the Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword. David didn’t have a sword in his hand but he had the sword in his mouth – he killed Goliath before he ran towards him.  It is time to use the sword in your mouth.

There is power in the Word of God! Get the Word of God that pertains to your expectation and declare it. Paint the picture of your future from the scriptures and you will see it. You know the story of the ‘woman with the issue of blood’. Her action was to touch the helm of Jesus’ garment but before then, she said “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” The miracle was in her mouth before she touched Jesus. What are you saying?

WHY WORDS ARE POWERFUL

  • The Word is God – John 1:1.
  • The word of God that you speak is the sword of the Spirit
  • Angels respond to the Word of God.
  • The word of God is light – John 6:16.
  • God’s Word is forever settled in heaven – Psalm 119:89.
  • The Word of God stands forever – Isaiah 40:8.
  • God’s Word is like water that cleanses, refreshes and satisfies – Ephesians 5:25.

Knowing the Holy Spirit better

Knowing the Holy Spirit better

God gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask. God also needed the Holy Spirit {Gen 1:1-2) God spoke and the spirit was created, God also needed the holy spirit. Jesus needed the Holy Spirit while he was here on earth; he didn’t start ministry until he was baptized. After he was Baptized by John, the heavens open and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove and God spoke “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased” He announced his ministry. Your knowledge of him (Holy Spirit) will help you to maximize the benefits from him. In Luke 4:1, after that experience Jesus was full of the Holy Ghost and was led by the spirit; it’s God’s desire for us to be full of the Holy Ghost. We need the fullness of the Holy Spirit, we need to understand him better, and we need to know him deeper. The bible tells us in (Roman 8:14) “As many that are led by the spirit of God they are the sons of God” NOT as many that are baptized by the spirit of God, NOT as many that know about the spirit of God, not as many that are workers in the church of God but as many that are led by the spirit of God they are the sons of God, so you need that relationship with the holy spirit to become the son of God.

The essence of our new birth is to come into son ship, the Bible tells us that unto us a child is born but a son is given. God is looking for son and not every Christian that is a son but those who are led by the Holy Spirit. We have to be led by the Holy Spirit., The bible speaks of those who are led not those who are directed. To be led by the spirit is not the same thing by been directed by the spirit, to be led by the spirit is to be taken by the hands and taken through until you get to your destination. The Greek word AGO means to take someone by the hands and take them to their destination. The Holy Spirit doesn’t want to point to us where to go only but to take us there. As many that are led by the spirit of God they shall be called the Son of God. God is looking for sons.

TO BE LED MEANS;

  • To cause a person to go with them by hand or to drive a person.
  • To guide by the hands like leading a little child: Most of us we just want the Holy Spirit to point us in a direction to go but God wants the Holy Spirit to take us by the hand and lead us. Those who are led by the spirit are the sons of God.
  • To have embraced; those who are yielded; those who are been driven: they are not the one driving but they are being driven. Sons are those who are being led by the spirit and only doing what the spirit leads him to do.

HOW DO I KNOW I AM LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

  • To be led by the Holy spirit means it’s not about your will but his will, it’s not about your will; not about what you want to do but about what he wants done.
  • Whenever your desire conflicts with his expectation you surrender with what he desires.
  • When the flesh does not take priority over the spirit.
  • You will be subject to the law of God. You will subject to the commandment of God; you will be subject to the instructions of God; You will not be dominated by the flesh and the actions of the flesh

HOW CAN I BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

  • You need to know him, the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God (1cor 3:16)
  • The holy spirit is referred to as the spirit of Christ.(Roman 8:9)
  • The holy spirit is the eternal spirit; this means the holy spirit has no begin and no end. Hebrew 9:14 tells us much more about the spirit of Christ, so the Holy Spirit is the eternal spirit so. The Holy Spirit has been there with God, he was there with Jesus Christ right from the beginning, Jesus did nothing without the help of holy spirit.
  • The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth: as you know he is the author of the bible. The bible is the book of truth and the holy spirit is the spirit of truth (John16:13) tells us that he will guard us into all truth for he shall not speak for himself but whatsoever he shall hear that you shall speak and he will show you things to come.
  • The Holy Spirit is the spirit of grace, when you embrace the Holy Spirit, when you receive the Holy Spirit, Grace will always surround you.
  • The Holy Spirit is the spirit of life (Roman 8:2) the Holy Spirit is the law of the spirit of life: when you have the Holy Spirit you have life.
  • The Holy Spirit is the spirit of glory (Ephesians 1:17). He isn’t just a comforter, the Holy Spirit our helper, the Holy Spirit is our comforter.
  • The Holy Spirit is the spirit of wisdom and Revelation: when you receive the Holy Spirit you receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation.
  • The Holy Spirit is the comforter: Jesus Christ himself said the comforter which is the holy ghost whom the father will send him my name (john 14:26).
  • The Holy Spirit is the spirit of holiness, if you have received the spirit of holiness, you cannot work unrighteousness and unholiness, you work in holiness when you the spirit of God inside of you (Roman 1:4). The bible called him the spirit of faith and the spirit of adoption.

How to Enjoy Divine Prophecy

How to Enjoy Divine Prophecy

Genesis 1:1-3 (NLT).

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty and darkness covered the deep waters . And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.3 Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light”

” Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you, based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles” -1 Timothy 1:18 (NLT)

God spoke in the beginning, He is speaking now and He will continue to speak but you need to position yourself to be able to enjoy what God is saying. You need to maximize benefits from the prophetic words spoken by God. Every year, believers eagerly wait for ‘a prophetic word’ from God. But the question is: “how many people really enjoy the words spoken by God?”

God does not only speak at the beginning of the year and ‘ABOVE ONLY’ will not be the only prophetic word from God to us this year. It takes warfare for prophecies to come to pass; that it is spoken does not mean it will automatically come to pass. Somebody has to pray earnestly (in the secret). Example is the account of Prophet Elijah in 1 King 18. The people of Israel started enjoying the rain after 3 and half years of drought but few of them were aware of what was done, by Elijah in secret, to make that prophecy a reality.

Open prophecy requires secret warfare for manifestation. The fact that God has given you ‘a word’ doesn’t mean you should go and sleep; you have to do something about it. You have to fight, contend for what belongs to you. One of the reasons prophecies don’t come to pass is because we don’t engage in spiritual battle (on our knees). When you hear a prophecy from God, pray and fast about it (Daniel 9:24; 10:2-3) and obey what God tells you to do about it (Mat 2:13, 19-20).

God gives us prophecies for:

  • Expectation – Where there is no expectation, there is no manifestation
  • Direction -to watch your steps
  • Hope – Lamentations 3:21
  • Vision – Proverbs 29:18
  • Revelation of what God is doing in our life

How to enjoy Divine prophecies

  • Receive it- Luke 1:38
  • Believe it – Lukel:20
  • Confess it
  • Do something about it

February – My Month of all things working for my good

February – My Month of all things working for my good

All things work together for our good.

Romans 8.28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Stand against the devil this year so he doesn’t destroy your future.

The enemy wants to steal your truth, vision, voice, gifts, talents, potential, desire, zeal and passion in order to destroy your future.

John 10.10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

The future God has for us is better than our past. Our future is peaceful.

Psalm 37:37
The wicked watches the righteous,
And seeks to slay him.

Factors that destroy our future:

  1. Fear
  2. Sin
  3. Impatience
  4. Laziness
  5. Negative words
  6. Disobedience
  7. Lack of preparation

Doing The Will Of God

Doing The Will Of God

Text

Matthew 6:9-13
Hebrew 10:35-36
Luke 6:46
Matthew 6:10

  • God wants His will to be done
  • Doing God’s will is important for our lives
  • Doing His will is foundational for your progress in life

What are the things that we should not do:

We do what others are doing

We do anything that is available

We do what is exciting or trending and in vogue

Ask yourself :

Is what I’m doing the will of God or fashionable?

God’s grace is always available when we do His will

What does it mean to do the will of God:

Following God’s plans for your life. Jeremiah 29:11

Obedience to the written word of God

Following God’s instructions

What does it mean to do the will of God:

Use divine methods

Understand the patterns of heaven and follow on the earth

Jesus did the will of God

Sometimes God’s will is not pleasant or easy to do but we should not neglect to do it

Ask yourself:

Is what I’m doing the will of God or popular demand? Read 1 Samuel 13:14

God rejected Saul but He found in David a man that will do all His will.
